Deborah Gullatt Peterson UAS Treasurer

Debbie has a long history with UAS. She first traveled with the club to Egypt in 1992. Whether just traveling or diving, she has always been a strong supporter of the organization. In recognition of her generosity to the Foundation she received the Humanitarian Award in April of 2015. She finally got certified in the summer of 2015 and was given the Outstanding Student Award for that class.
Debbie has managed to log 39 dives. The club has afforded her the opportunity to travel to many exotic locations including Mozambique, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Cozumel and St. Croix. She completed the EFR training last Spring and has earned two specialty certifications, boat and drift.
Advanced Open Water is the next certification level she will achieve. She is looking forward to improving her skills on trips this year to the Exuma Cays in The Bahamas, Puerto Galera in the Philippines, Saba in the Dutch Caribbean and Belize. It took her a while but she is in love with diving and the wonderful places it allows her to go. UAS and its members have truly enriched her life.
